The company is currently hiring truck mechanics who can work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, have excellent hand-eye co-ordination, are detail-orientated and display manual dexterity.
The company is looking for individuals who have a minimum of 1 to less than 2 years of experience; a registered apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience; are proficient in the English language; and are willing to work on-site since there is no option to work remotely, the work setting is dusty, and all work will be completed in the workshop.
Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement and expertise in truck-trailer repair are required for this job

Responsibilities
As a truck mechanic, your tasks include the following:
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
- Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
- Discuss work with a supervisor.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Review work orders
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Provide customer service
