Responsibilities
As a Dairy Farm Labourer, your tasks include the following:
- Handle and care for livestock
- Monitor animal health and the calving process
- Feed and tend animals
- Supervise milking operations to ensure proper procedures
- Treat livestock health issues when required
- Prepare clean and safe areas for calving cows
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- Maintain production records, logs, and quality control
- Perform general farm duties
