Responsibilities
As a Building Maintenance Worker, your tasks include the following:
- Make minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Contact contractors or tradespersons for major repairs and maintenance
- Perform safety and security checks regularly
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repairs
- Assist skilled tradespersons when required
- Work with minimal supervision
