Responsibilities
As a Community and Social Services Worker, your tasks may include:
- Support individuals with personal, social, and health-related needs
- Assist clients dealing with substance abuse, behavioral challenges, or socio-economic issues
- Provide care in group homes and community-based settings
- Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder programs
- Assist in palliative care environments when required
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams
- Use computer systems for reporting and administrative tasks
