Responsibilities

As a Community and Social Services Worker, your tasks may include:

  • Support individuals with personal, social, and health-related needs
  • Assist clients dealing with substance abuse, behavioral challenges, or socio-economic issues
  • Provide care in group homes and community-based settings
  • Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder programs
  • Assist in palliative care environments when required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and client records
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams
  • Use computer systems for reporting and administrative tasks
